A prophetic nightmare sends SET (Krista Cabanas) sprawling into the realization that the enemy is back: this tense second chapter in The Shadow Diaries trilogy marks the return of SPIDER (David Thanphilom) – mysteriously brought back to life by the Shadow Clan. Angered by Spider's death in the previous film, ALEXANDER BLACKWELL – a new character, head of Shadow Clan – demands a decisive re-match to settle the score between Spider and Set. Smoke Clan's superior, THE MANAGER (Renee Ragaza-Miller), agrees and tasks deputy LAURA MADISON (Christine Day) to train their bounty hunter. While arresting a group of young cultists illegally using magic, Set is called in to train with Laura to weed out her fighting weaknesses and capitalize on her strengths. Elsewhere, Spider conditions his body to withstand maximum impact. When Set's training space is invaded by a group of Shadow members flanking the unexpected Spider, she realizes what her training has been for. Instead of finishing him off, Set mercifully leaves the beaten Spider his life – only to fall trap to his deceit. With her back turned, Spider seizes his opportunity to make Set pay in blood. By his dishonorable act, he forces the tension between both groups to be shoved past the point of no return, setting into motion unavoidable consequences that will be explored in the upcoming third and final chapter. Spider found his revenge, but has he made the biggest mistake of his life?
